This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 09, 2009:
I find myself(I tend to get lost) often throughout the day reflecting on many things. I reflect upon interactions that day that feel significant to me.
- Many things during the day trigger me to reflect on memories of what specific occurence in my day triggered my memory mank to deposit some reflection's into.It serves as an unwritten journal on the occasions there is a self -knowledge that I have become aware of.
- Other times, something in nature trigger's a memory of a place or an earlier time in my life.
- The list is truly endless.
I never realized untill you posed the question Siona that I'M A SERIAL REFLECTOR!! Should I be concerned? I do spend a great deal of time in the present moment. It's reflectionplus??? However, the plus I would not describe as critical self analysis. That would be quite fatiguing! It;s a pleasant and positive experience, that I never was awaree I took part in so often!
Lastly, I ALWAYS reflect upon the day. I reflect upon what I was rateful for as well as what I feel I could have handled with a healthier attitude. I speak of those brief interactions with people that for some reason I was vulnerable to letting people "push my buttons" and actually have it register.
These are times I reflect-and analyze why the person was able to succedd in pushing an emotional button. It usually is evident to me quickly and I make a mental note(hoping I don't forget where I filed it later) that I need to be aware of dealing with this particular issue in my life.
While the list is endless, I will spare you any more detailed examples1 LOL!
Siona, thanks for reading my,"Reflection's on my Reflections!"
